About RKubed
RKubed is a Scottish charity, registered with OSCR in 2025, that gives unwanted items a second life while training people in technical and craft skills. Its computer project takes in donated laptops and desktop computers, reconditions and refurbishes them, and passes them on so that good technology is more affordable.
Individuals and businesses can offer computers by giving the make, model and age; the charity explains how it handles data before items are handed over and asks people to arrange drop-offs in advance. It also upcycles furniture and turns Christmas trees into wooden toys.
