About Donate IT
Donate IT is a registered charity (no. 1208597) working across Somerset, Dorset and the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area. Individuals drop unwanted laptops, PCs, phones, tablets and other devices at its network of local drop-off points, and businesses can arrange corporate donations of redundant IT.
Devices are securely wiped, refurbished and passed to schools, families and people referred by charities, housing associations and support workers; some are sold to fund newer equipment. It works with Wiltshire ITAD firm Blackmore UK, whose founder set it up, for certified data destruction and refurbishment of business donations.
